Jay Ma

Jay Ma is the CTO and co-founder of Final Round AI. He brought machine learning experience from Pinterest, Meta, and AMD to build the real-time AI systems that power Interview Copilot and the platform's answer generation engine. Before Final Round AI, while still in college, he reverse-engineered LinkedIn's job recommendation system, a project that helped hundreds of peers land their first offers and planted the idea for what would become Final Round AI.

Jay's technical perspective shapes how the platform approaches accuracy, latency, and the hard problem of giving useful feedback in the middle of a live interview. He understands both the engineering tradeoffs and the candidate experience because he has been on both sides of the table.
