TLDR: Final Round AI's Interview CoPilot™ is a desktop app for macOS and Windows that listens to your live job interview and displays real-time answer suggestions in a private window only you can see. The free tier covers unlimited job preparation. Pro starts at $25 per month and unlocks live Copilot sessions, practice interviews, automatic debriefs, and Screen Help.

What Is Final Round AI?

Final Round AI is a real-time AI interview assistance platform. Its core product, Interview CoPilot™, is a desktop application for macOS and Windows that listens to your live interview and displays structured answer suggestions in a private window only you can see. No button to press, no chat box to type into. It hears the question, matches it against your resume and the job description you uploaded, and writes a suggested answer word by word on your screen while the interviewer is still talking.

The platform is used by more than 10 million job seekers across 80+ countries and holds a 4.9-star rating on Product Hunt. It's designed for every major interview format without requiring you to switch modes: behavioral, coding, system design, case, and domain-specific questions are all handled the same way. You don't need to tell the app what kind of question is coming; it figures that out on its own and adjusts the suggestion accordingly, which means you can focus on the conversation instead of managing a tool.

How Does Interview CoPilot™ Work?

Interview CoPilot™ runs as a native desktop app alongside your video call. When the interviewer asks a question, the app transcribes the audio live, identifies the question, and generates a first-person suggested answer based on your resume, the job description, and any materials you attached to the Goal for that role. The suggestion appears only on your screen. The interviewer sees nothing.

There is no chat box and no button to press. The four states are: Listening, Question detected, Answering (word by word), Answer ready. You glance at the suggestion and say it in your own words.

It works across Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, HackerRank, CoderPad, CodeSignal, HireVue, and phone screens via a second device. All interview formats are covered without mode switching: behavioral, coding, system design, case, and domain-specific.

What Are the Five Capabilities Inside Interview CoPilot™?

The homepage is explicit: "Five capabilities, one app. Not five products to stitch together." Every feature runs inside Interview CoPilot™ against the same Goal, resume, and materials. You do not switch between separate products; you use one app that handles each stage of the interview process.

What Does the Live Interview Feature Do?

A suggested answer appears on your screen seconds after the question is asked, written in the first person the way you would actually say it. This is what most people know Final Round AI for. It runs during any video call or phone screen and the suggestion window is hidden from screen sharing by default.

What Does Practice Interview Do?

Run a full mock session before the real interview using your Goal context. The AI plays the role of the interviewer. You test your pacing, verify that suggestions appear correctly, and rehearse answers for the specific company and role you prepared for. Practice Interview is a Pro feature.

What Is the Interview Debrief?

When the session ends, Interview CoPilot™ writes an automatic debrief. It covers what went well, one next step, and what stood out about the session. The debrief feeds back into your next round, so each interview makes the next one sharper. Interview Debrief is a Pro feature. It is not a manual report you fill out; the app generates it automatically as soon as you close the session.

What Does Screen Help Do?

Screen Help reads content visible on your screen and folds it into the context for the suggested answer. Any question that lives on screen rather than in the audio, such as a coding prompt, a system design brief, or a take-home problem shared during the call, is picked up automatically. The spoken part of the answer stays short while the full on-screen context is used in the background. Screen Help is a Pro feature.

What Is Stealth Mode?

The Interview CoPilot™ suggestion window is hidden from screen sharing and recordings in Zoom, Google Meet, Teams, and everywhere else. Stealth Mode is on by default. You do not need to enable it manually. Test it with a screen share before your real interview to verify it works on your specific setup.

How Do Goals Work?

Before each interview you create a Goal: one job, one set of materials. You attach your resume, the job description, and any supporting notes. The free tier supports unlimited Goals, so you can prepare for multiple roles simultaneously. A prep checklist on each Goal shows what is missing before you go live: resume, job description, any additional context you want the AI to have.

Every session, note, and debrief attaches back to the Goal, so all your preparation for a specific role stays in one place across rounds. If you are doing a second round at the same company, all your first-round context is already there.

What Happens in Preflight?

Before each live session, the Preflight screen lets you check audio, set session-only overrides, pick the audio source, and choose the answer language and coding language. For phone screens, you record a one-time voice sample so Interview CoPilot™ can tell your voice from the interviewer's. No bot joins the call and no dial-in is required.

Preflight also lets you set a coding language preference for the session, which matters for technical interviews where you want suggestions written in Python versus JavaScript versus Go. You set it per session, not per Goal, so you can switch for each round without changing your prep materials.

What Does Final Round AI Cost?

Final Round AI offers two tiers as of October 2026.

What Platforms Does Final Round AI Support?

Interview CoPilot™ runs on macOS 14.4 or later and Windows. It is a native desktop app. There is no browser-only version for live sessions.

The app covers 143 locales across 76 languages for spoken interviews, so candidates interviewing in languages other than English can use it too. Coding question support extends to JavaScript, Python, Go, Java, Kotlin, PHP, C#, Swift, R, Ruby, TypeScript, SQL, Rust, Bash, and more.

Who Is Final Round AI For?

Interview CoPilot™ is built for any candidate who interviews over video, particularly where screen sharing is involved. Engineers doing coding rounds, product managers doing case studies, analysts doing Excel or SQL tests, and consultants doing behavioral interviews all use the same app. The preparation loop adapts to the role because your Goal holds the specific job description and your background, not generic content.

It is used across technical interviews at software companies, behavioral rounds at consulting and finance firms, case interviews, and domain-specific interviews at organizations ranging from early-stage startups to large enterprise companies. More than 10 million job seekers in over 80 countries have used the platform since it launched.

Candidates preparing for a single role use one Goal to consolidate all their prep. Candidates running multiple job searches simultaneously use separate Goals to keep the context clean for each company and role. Both use cases are supported on the free tier through unlimited Goals; the difference is that live sessions and debriefs require Pro.

What Should You Know Before Getting Started?

A few common misconceptions worth clearing up before you download the app. Interview CoPilot™ is not a browser extension. The live session feature requires the desktop app installed on your machine. It is not a question bank or flashcard tool. The suggestions are generated on the fly from your own materials, not retrieved from a question database. And it is not a job search platform. It does not help you find jobs; it helps you perform better in the interviews you already have.

The AI Resume Builder was an earlier product that was discontinued in July 2026. It is no longer available.

To get started with Interview CoPilot™, create an account at finalroundai.com, set up a Goal with your resume and the job description for the role you are preparing for, and download the desktop app on macOS or Windows. Upgrade to Pro when you are ready to use live sessions. The full Prepare-Perform-Review loop is available on Pro: prepare with your Goal, go live with Interview CoPilot™ during the real interview, then read the automatic debrief and use it to improve for the next round.
